Job summary

Itä-Uudenmaan hyvinvointialue seeks a NURSE for a permanent position starting 7 September 2026 or as agreed. The role is based at the elderly care unit Harmaakallio in Loviisa, focusing on an aging population and multilingual residents.

The unit offers 56 round-the-clock places and provides safe, home-like care. The candidate will plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care with the team and unit doctor.

Qualifications

• Hold nursing degree or a prior diploma-level qualification and be licensed under the Social and Health Care Professionals Act.
• Proficiency in one domestic language (Finnish or Swedish) with adequate skills in the other language.
• Experience in elderly care is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care for residents in collaboration with the team.
• Make related decisions in consultation with the unit doctor.
• Engage in patient-centered, activating care to maintain residents’ functional capacity.
