Job summary

Lapland X Tours Oy in Rovaniemi seeks an Aurora Tour Guide to lead Northern Lights and day tours, and VIP experiences. You will capture aurora photos with professional cameras and represent a premium brand known for a 5.0 rating.

The role starts with a 1-month trial and offers growth to permanent employment with direct mentorship from the founder.

Qualifications

• Fluent English; other languages a big plus.
• Category B driving licence and confidence driving on snow and ice.
• Good photography skills, esp. night/aurora.
• A social, friendly personality—someone guests remember.
• Genuine knowledge of and passion for Lapland’s nature, history and culture.
• Reliable, independent, and eager to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Guide Northern Lights tours, day tours and VIP experiences.

• Drive the tour van safely in Arctic winter conditions.

Aurora Tour Guide

Lapland X Tours is a premium, small-group tour company in Rovaniemi with a 5.0 rating across Google Maps and TripAdvisor. We run Northern Lights photography tours, day tours, and private VIP experiences for travellers from all over the world. We’re looking for an Aurora Tour Guide to work directly with the founder, take on real responsibility, and grow with us.

This is a potentially permanent position. It starts with a 1-month trial period — and if you’re good, you’ll be hired permanently.

What you’ll do

• Guide Northern Lights tours, plus day tours and VIP experiences
• Take great aurora and landscape photos for our guests using professional cameras
• Represent Lapland X Tours and the 5.0 reputation we’ve earned
• Share the authentic side of Lapland — its history, culture, and way of life
• Drive our tour van safely in Arctic winter conditions
• Deliver warm, personal, 5-star service to VIP guests and travellers alike
• Create content for our TikTok and Instagram
• Keep the van clean and guest-ready
• Work independently and make good decisions in the field
• Do other tours during summer

What we’re looking for
