Sunday Morning Collection offers premium outdoor activities in Pyhä‑Luosto National Park, Finnish Lapland. We seek Outdoor Activity Guides for the upcoming winter season to lead and supervise nature-based experiences, with emphasis on safety, guest satisfaction and authentic Lapland storytelling.

The role suits those who enjoy winter environments, meeting travellers worldwide, and sharing Lapland stories and traditions. Training and onboarding are provided; accommodation is available if needed.

Qualifications

• Interest in nature, outdoor activities and adventure tourism.
• Experience in activity guiding, tourism, outdoor recreation or wilderness guiding; enthusiastic beginners welcome.
• Excellent customer service attitude and strong communication skills.
• Good physical fitness for winter conditions.
• Responsible, proactive and positive approach to work.
• Fluent English; Finnish is a plus; additional languages welcome.
• Valid driving licence (Category B); D licence is an advantage.
• First Aid (EA1) certificate is an advantage; training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Guide nature-based experiences and outdoor activities, primarily in English.
• Lead electric snowmobile tours, Northern Lights excursions, ice fishing, snowshoe adventures, farm visits and more.
• Ensure guest safety while delivering exceptional experiences.
• Airport transfers, activity transportation and other private transfers.
• Preparing, maintaining and servicing activity equipment and gear.
• Heating and maintaining lakeside saunas.
• General maintenance and support duties around the resort area.
• Assist guests and coordinate arrangements before and during activities.

Join our Activities Team in Finnish Lapland

We’re looking for Outdoor Activity Guides to join our team for the upcoming winter season in Pyhä-Luosto National Park, Finnish Lapland.

At Sunday Morning Collection, we create unforgettable outdoor experiences in one of Finland’s most beautiful national parks. Operating according to the principles of sustainable tourism, our activities combine Arctic nature, safety and authentic Lapland experiences.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys spending time outdoors, meeting people from around the world and sharing the stories, nature and traditions of Lapland. If you thrive in the snow and want to help create lifelong memories for our guests, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Guiding nature-based experiences and outdoor activities, primarily in English
• Leading electric snowmobile tours, Northern Lights excursions, ice fishing trips, snowshoe adventures, farm visits and other outdoor experiences
• Ensuring guest safety while delivering exceptional customer experiences
• Airport transfers, activity transportation and other private transfers
• Preparing, maintaining and servicing activity equipment, including electric snowmobiles, skis, snowshoes and other outdoor gear
• Heating and maintaining our lakeside saunas
• General maintenance and support duties around the resort area
• Assisting guests and coordinating practical arrangements before and during activities

Qualifications

• A genuine interest in nature, outdoor activities and adventure tourism
• Previous experience in activity guiding, tourism, outdoor recreation or wilderness guiding (enthusiastic applicants at the beginning of their careers are also encouraged to apply)
• An excellent customer service attitude and strong communication skills
• Good physical fitness and the ability to work comfortably in changing winter conditions
• A responsible, proactive and positive approach to work
• Fluent English, as all guiding is conducted primarily in English. Finnish is a significant advantage, as we also welcome many domestic guests. Additional languages are highly appreciated.
• A valid Category B driving licence (Category D1 or D licence is considered an advantage)
• A valid First Aid (EA1) certificate is an advantage, although training can be provided if neededA willingness to learn, develop and grow within the activity and adventure tourism industry
