Role Mission

We are looking for a motivated and commercially driven Nordics Growth Manager to accelerate business growth and strengthen our market presence across the Nordic region. In this role, you will drive new business acquisition, develop strategic client relationships, and identify opportunities to expand our footprint across Finland and the wider Nordics.

Combining a strong commercial mindset with a passion for social media, influencer marketing, and modern marketing strategies, you will play a key role in connecting brands with innovative, social-first solutions. Working closely with the Kurio / SAMY team and our international network, you will help shape our regional growth strategy, unlock new business opportunities, and continuously develop our sales approach.

Key responsibilities

• Drive Regional Growth: Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across Finland and the Nordic markets through targeted outreach, strategic prospecting, networking, and market development.
• Lead the Sales Process: Own the full consultative sales cycle, from prospect identification and initial engagement to needs analysis, proposal development, negotiations, and closing.
• Build Strategic Client Relationships: Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers, senior stakeholders, and prospective clients to drive sustainable revenue growth.
• Develop Market Opportunities: Identify emerging trends, client needs, and market opportunities across the Nordics to strengthen our competitive position and expand our service offering.
• Create Winning Proposals: Collaborate with internal strategy, creative, influencer marketing, and social media teams to develop compelling, tailored proposals that address client challenges and deliver business value.
• Strengthen Regional Collaboration: Work as an integral part of the Kurio / SAMY team, collaborating closely with colleagues across the Nordic markets and the wider international sales network to maximize cross-market opportunities.
• Champion Social-First Solutions: Identify opportunities to introduce clients to innovative solutions across social media, influencer marketing, social listening, social monitoring, and integrated marketing strategies.
• Optimize Sales Performance: Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes, methodologies, and tools, using market insights and performance data to drive efficiency and results.
• Own Growth Objectives: Take responsibility for pipeline development, new business targets, and commercial performance, ensuring a consistent focus on measurable growth.

Skills & experience

• Proven B2B Sales Experience: A strong track record in new business acquisition, revenue generation, and strategic account development, ideally within a competitive and fast-paced environment.
• Agency & Industry Expertise: Experience in marketing, communications, advertising, or creative agencies, with an understanding of agency business models and client needs.
• Social Media & Influencer Marketing Passion: A genuine interest in social-first marketing, with hands-on experience or strong familiarity with social media platforms, influencer marketing, social listening, social monitoring, and digital marketing trends.
• Nordic Market Understanding: Knowledge of the Nordic business landscape, with the ability to identify regional opportunities, navigate local market dynamics, and build relationships across different markets.
• Consultative Sales & Negotiation Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, with the confidence to challenge, advise, and influence C-level decision-makers.
• Strategic & Commercial Mindset: The ability to translate business objectives into actionable growth strategies, prioritize opportunities, and build a sustainable sales pipeline.
• Entrepreneurial Drive: A proactive, self-starting approach, with the motivation to take ownership, work independently, and deliver against ambitious commercial goals.
• Collaboration & Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills, combined with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams and international markets.
• Continuous Learning & Innovation: A genuine desire to develop modern sales methodologies, embrace new tools and technologies, and continuously improve how we identify and win business.
• Languages: Fluency in English is essential. Fluency in Finnish and/or Swedish is highly valued, while additional Nordic language skills are considered a strong asset.
