Job summary

NCC Construction AS is seeking a Category Manager & Team Leader for the Nordic Fleet to drive category strategies and lead a Nordic fleet team across Denmark, Norway and Sweden from Helsinki. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on team management and requires driving the transformation of NCC's fleet into a Nordic function.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, business, economics or related field.
• Experience with category management and procurement in asset-intensive operations.
• Fluent English and a Nordic language is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies in support of NCC's long-term goals.
• Lead the Nordic Fleet team, providing daily support and prioritization of work.
• Drive the transition towards common Nordic processes, responsibilities and ways of working.
• Own Nordic supplier agreements, policies and governance within the category.
• Build strong supplier relationships through Supplier Relationship Management.
• Analyze market trends, conduct risk assessments and provide actionable insights.
• Ensure category strategies and framework agreements are used across the organization.
• Follow up on KPIs and maintain inventory visibility and governance.
