Job summary

Arcadis in Finland seeks a Senior/Lead EHS Manager to shape the environmental, health, safety and security strategy for a major Nordic data centre project. You will govern the EHS framework, align multi-national contractor networks with client expectations, and champion a proactive culture of care across the workforce and public.

Based in-country with potential international travel to Norway/Finland, you will drive governance, risk assessment reviews, incident investigations, and performance

Qualifications

• Senior or Lead EHS management on mega-scale construction or major infrastructure projects.
• Experience in top-tier consultancies, general contractors, or client-side delivery.
• Direct experience delivering hyperscale data centres or complex technology infrastructure projects is strongly preferred.
• Commitment to continuous professional development (CPD).

Responsibilities

• Lead the EHS strategy across Nordic sites and contractor groups.
• Develop and govern the EHS management system aligned with client standards and ISO 45001:2018.
• Monitor performance indicators, audits, and incident investigations with timely corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with Finnish, Norwegian and Nordic EHS legislation and Arcadis standards.
• Foster a zero-harm culture and engage senior leadership and contractor teams.
