Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking an experienced EHS Manager for mission-critical data centre builds in Helsinki, Espoo and Kirkkonummi. You will lead safety programs, ensure compliance with EU legislation, and drive zero-incident culture across multiple sites.

Reporting to the EHS Lead, you will develop H&S plans, manage COSHH, conduct audits, train site personnel, and monitor subcontractor safety performance to deliver safe, sustainable project execution.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental, Health & Safety or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of EHS management on large-scale construction projects.
• Experience with data centre or mission-critical facilities is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of EU health & safety legislation.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance with Safety Management System across Espoo and Kirkkonummi campuses.
• Develop Construction Stage Health & Safety Plans and risk assessments.
• Conduct site inspections and manage COSHH assessments.
• Monitor subcontractor EHS performance and PPE management.
• Lead incident investigations and ensure timely reporting.
• Coordinate EHS inductions and training programs.
