Job summary

Saab is seeking a Service Engineer to join a team delivering the 9LV Combat System across naval platforms. You will participate from commissioning to final ship delivery and support midlife upgrade surveys, working closely with system engineers and suppliers.

The role involves installation, commissioning, and hands-on problem solving with diverse teams; travel within Finland and abroad, particularly Sweden, is part of the program.

Qualifications

• Formal degree from technical high school or equivalent is required.
• Experience in commissioning and installation of hardware and software.
• Strong troubleshooting and reparations skills are expected.
• Service and maintenance knowledge is essential.

Responsibilities

• Participate in projects from initial commissioning to final ship delivery.
• Conduct surveys for midlife upgrades and provide support for delivered systems.
• Install and commission hardware and software; collaborate with System Engineers, Software Integrators and suppliers.
