Job summary

Nordea is seeking a Technical Lead to steer the ML model pipeline capability within the Analytics area. Based in Helsinki or Oulu, you will guide data scientists and ML engineers, define standards, and advance deployment and governance across Nordic markets.

You will lead platform enhancements on AWS SageMaker, ensure reproducible feature data, and collaborate with security and central teams to align with Nordea’s technology strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership in software/data/ML engineering.
• Strong Python production experience with modern tooling.
• Experience building production-grade platforms with observability and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of AWS services including S3/IAM and cloud infrastructure.
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical authority for the ML model pipeline capability.
• Lead end-to-end ML pipelines from feature prep to deployment and monitoring.
• Integrate pipelines with Customer 360 data products and Snowflake data platform.
• Implement validation, drift detection, monitoring, and governance for models.
• Drive continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration across teams.
