Job summary

Nordea Finance is seeking two Senior Data Warehouse Engineers to join the Data & Application Management team in Helsinki. You will design and optimize our future data platform and own data models, pipelines, and data flows from requirements to production.

We value strong SQL/Python skills, data warehousing expertise, and experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow. The role follows a hybrid model (60% onsite) in Helsinki, Finland.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Extensive experience in data engineering and data warehousing.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Experience with modern data platforms (Snowflake, dbt, Airflow) and SSIS.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI.
• Solid engineering practices (Git, CI/CD, automated testing).
• Interest in AI and new technologies.

• Understand the business domain to effectively understand and build data flows and models supporting data needs and requirements.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues in and outside of the team.
