Job summary

Nordea in Finland is seeking a hands-on Technical Lead to guide the ML model pipeline capability within Analytics, leading a team of data scientists and ML engineers in Helsinki or Oulu. You will set engineering standards, design end-to-end pipelines, and partner across domains to deliver production-grade models.

The role requires strong leadership, deep Python expertise, cloud experience with AWS, Snowflake, and ML tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software/data/ML engineering or related technical fields.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical authority for the ML model pipeline capability.
• Lead the design and hands-on development of end-to-end pipelines (feature prep, evaluation, deployment, monitoring).
• Lead platform enhancement with AWS SageMaker to improve speed, reliability, and repeatability.
• Integrate model pipelines with Snowflake data products and feature datasets.
• Standardize deployment patterns, governance, and responsible AI practices.
