Job summary

Metso is seeking a field services professional to deliver on pre-sales through post-sales activities, including installation, commissioning, and on-site maintenance for mining equipment. You will work with customers, project teams, and sales to ensure safe, cost-efficient service delivery and timely issue resolution.

The role requires technical background, strong communication, and the ability to travel overnight frequently.

Qualifications

College degree or above with technical background.
3 years’ experience in mining industry as field service role, site service project management preferred.
Strong knowledge of mining products with hands-on experience.
High sense of urgency to solve customer issues and meet deadlines.
Written and oral English is a plus.

Responsibilities

Comply with EHS policy and ensure services align with policy.
Install and commission new equipment; coordinate with project teams.
Provide technical operation and maintenance training to customers.
Quickly respond to equipment troubleshooting and site repair; escalate as needed.
Identify service opportunities and submit value-added maintenance proposals.
Coordinate with sales to handle service-related opportunities and growth.
Submit required reports to management by deadlines.
Work with Life Cycle Services, Product Support and project teams.
Other duties assigned.
