Wärtsilä, a global marine and energy technology leader, seeks a Manager/General Manager, Strategy to shape Marine’s direction and translate it into business impact. You will work with senior leaders across the organisation and own strategic topics and initiatives.

You will engage in strategy development, market assessment, and corporate finance, driving decisions that influence investments, partnerships and growth in a decarbonised maritime future.

Formación

• Experience in management consulting, ideally with a leading firm.
• Strong understanding of P&L, business performance and value creation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior stakeholders.
• Ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects from question to implementation.
• High ownership and results-oriented mindset.
• Maritime industry knowledge is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Shape Marine’s strategy by translating market developments into priorities.
• Partner with Marine and BU Management to set objectives and challenge assumptions.
• Turn priorities into action with clear accountability and tracking.
• Identify and assess growth opportunities across markets, services, technologies, business models and portfolio.
• Lead projects on market assessment, competitive positioning, segments, products and geographies.
• Build robust business and financial cases to guide investments.
• Evaluate partnerships and M&A opportunities with BUs and Corporate Functions.
• Align internal and external messaging with priorities.
