Job summary

Morson is supporting an international engineering contractor to appoint an LV/BMS Package Manager for a major data centre project in Finland. You will own the LV/BMS delivery across a complex, mission-critical environment on site in Finland.

You will coordinate with the project team, LV and BMS subcontractors, controls specialists and commissioning teams to ensure design coordination through installation, commissioning and handover, while managing schedule, resources and interfaces.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

LV/BMS Package Manager - Data Centre

Finland | 10/4 rotation | €7,000-€8,000 net per month

Join before the package reaches site and set it up properly from the start.

Rather than inheriting an LV and BMS package midway through commissioning, you will join ahead of the planned early 2027 construction start and own how the package is coordinated, installed, tested and handed over.

Morson is supporting an international engineering contractor with the appointment of an LV/BMS Package Manager for a major new data centre project in Finland.

Your package

You will take responsibility for the low-voltage and Building Management System delivery across a complex, mission-critical environment.

Acting as the main link between the project team, LV and BMS subcontractors, controls specialists and commissioning team, you will ensure that the package remains technically coordinated and aligned with the construction programme.

You will be responsible for:

• Owning the LV/BMS package from design coordination through installation, commissioning and handover
• Managing specialist subcontractors, BMS integrators, controls engineers and system vendors
• Reviewing drawings, technical submittals, RFIs and sequence-of-operations information
• Controlling programme, construction sequencing, resources, interfaces and package risks
• Coordinating LV, BMS, HVAC controls, mechanical plant and associated EPMS interfaces
• Managing quality inspections, defects, testing and commissioning readiness
• Coordinating functional testing, integrated systems testing and final system handover
• Maintaining accurate progress, commissioning and close-out documentation
• Reporting clearly on delivery, dependencies and upcoming project requirements
• Ensuring safe working and compliance across all package activities

The experience required

This position is aimed at someone who already understands how to deliver a BMS or integrated LV controls package within data centre construction.

You may currently be working as an LV/BMS Package Manager, BMS Package Manager, BMS Project Manager, Controls Project Manager, Electrical Package Manager or Senior BMS Engineer with genuine responsibility for vendors, programme and commissioning.

You should demonstrate:

• Data centre or comparable mission-critical construction experience
• Delivery of a BMS, building automation, controls or integrated LV package
• Knowledge of LV systems, BMS architecture, HVAC controls and system integration
• Experience managing specialist subcontractors, integrators and equipment vendors
• The ability to coordinate electrical, mechanical and commissioning interfaces
• Experience reviewing technical drawings, submittals and commissioning information
• Involvement through testing, commissioning, documentation and client handover
• An electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, building services or controls background
• Existing legal right to work in Finland

This is a construction-delivery role. Experience limited to BMS servicing, facilities maintenance or software commissioning without package ownership will not be sufficient.

Package and rotation

• €7,000-€8,000 net per month
• 10 days on, 4 days off rotation
• Site-based position in Finland
• Mobilisation ahead of the planned early 2027 construction start
