• Excellent planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Regional Logistics Lead and support project teams during major equipment installations.
• Manage logistics booking systems and delivery management platforms.
• Plan site set-up and move labor, plant, and materials efficiently across project phases.
• Ensure coordination with project planner, commercial managers, and senior construction manager.
• Develop and implement logistics plans and process optimizations to meet build programs.
• Monitor inventory and ensure timely availability of materials to maintain progress.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements in logistics activities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Reporting directly to the Regional Logistics Lead.
• Support project teams during major equipment installations including generators, transformers, chillers and prefabricated modules
• Manage logistics booking systems and delivery management platforms.
• Covers site logistics planning and execution
• Plan site set-up, with pre-con team and input from Logistics Lead, to move labor, plant, and materials around site efficiently coupled with planning internal and external logistics routes through the project phases.
• Ensure early engagement with the project planner, the commercial managers procuring the work, and the senior construction manager on the site.
• Ensure that the construction team is fully aware of logistics activities in support of the build program.
• Anticipate and proactively resolve issues using internal and external resources.
• Discuss technical requirements and specifications.
• Independently consolidate and analyze information from various sources to develop complex logistics plans.
• Support the Regional Logistics Lead in all logistics and operational project activities.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all logistics processes, including material transport, storage, and site deliveries.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Ensure timely availability of materials to maintain project progress.
• Monitor inventory levels, identify risks, and implement improvements.
• Develop and implement logistics plans and process optimizations.
• Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) requirements in logistics activities.
• Manage logistics budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Pre-plan the usage of key assets such as hoists to ensure planned assets meet the needs of the program. Ensure project sequencing is considered to optimize positioning.
• Manage logistics through project assignment, resource alignment, and prioritization.
• Monitor inventory reconciliation processes to identify risk, manage obsolescence, and reserve appropriately.
• Proactively monitor system interfaces with external suppliers, identifying and correcting any errors impacting product movements.
• Work closely with all stakeholder teams across the site to understand business requirements, implement new processes, and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
• Resolve site project issues and coordinate appropriate escalation.
• Ensuring Health, Safety and Quality is at the forefront of daily activity.
• Partner with the construction team to monitor training of full-time and contracted staff and maintain logistics best practices across all sites.
• Identify waste to streamline processes and reduce excess materials.
• Strive to refine and develop all logistics processes aligning with best practices and other analytical positions.
• Plan and coordinate the transportation and storage of construction materials and equipment.
• Ensure materials arrive on-site in a timely manner to avoid project delays.
• Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to streamline logistics.
• Oversee the scheduling and routing of transportation for materials and workers.
• Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams.
• Develop and implement site logistics plans to optimize workflow.
• Ensure storage areas are organized and accessible.
• Ensure logistics activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Secure necessary permits for material transportation and site access.
