Job summary

ROA Talent is seeking a Senior Construction Manager in Helsinki to oversee the full delivery of construction packages from mobilisation to handover, leading site teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure safe, on-schedule, and high-quality outcomes.

You will mentor project engineers, manage stakeholder relationships with clients and Tier 1 contractors, review drawings and BIM models, and drive continuous improvement across multi-disciplinary teams in Finland’s data centre market.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale projects (data centres, industrial, or mission-critical facilities).
• Strong leadership, communication, and budgeting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction delivery across multiple packages, ensuring programme alignment and quality.
• Oversee site operations, subcontractor performance, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards.
• Provide strategic leadership, mentoring, and guidance to project engineers and site managers.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, including clients, consultants, and Tier 1 contractors.
• Monitor progress, resolve site challenges, and implement corrective actions.

The Role

You’ll oversee the full delivery of construction packages from mobilisation through to completion, managing site teams, subcontractors, and client relationships to ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards. This is a senior leadership role requiring strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and the ability to drive performance across multidisciplinary teams.
