Job summary

ANDRITZ Recovery Division is seeking a Lead Structural Analyst to take technical ownership of seismic design and structural analysis for international projects. You will define seismic requirements, interpret standards, and develop guidelines and methods that shape equipment and structures used in pulp and paper technologies.

The role emphasizes collaboration with mechanical engineering and product development, with potential for technical leadership and coordination across teams worldwide.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in mechanical engineering, structural engineering or similar field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in structural analysis and strength calculations.
  • Strong understanding of structural mechanics and FEM.
  • Experience with FE calculation software; Ansys Workbench is an advantage.
  • Experience in seismic design and related standards.
  • Ability to interpret and apply design requirements and standards in international projects.
  • Good spoken and written English skills.
  • Experience in technical coordination or engineering leadership.
  • Experience in pressure equipment or pressure vessel design and related standards.
  • Understanding of Eurocode / AISC standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead structural analysis and seismic design across international projects.
  • Define project seismic requirements and translate standards into design criteria.
  • Develop design guidelines, calculation methods, and engineering practices.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineering and product development teams.
  • Possibly coordinate technical aspects and act as technical lead on selected projects.
