Job summary

Elisa is seeking an experienced Lead Developer to shape the Elisa Consumer Webshop, elisa.fi/kauppa, using a composable, headless approach. You will design scalable webshop solutions, mentor developers, and collaborate with architects to steer technical direction.

You will work in a hybrid setup with a strong focus on API-first, cloud-native delivery, DevOps, testing, and documentation to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in modern composable commerce development and solution architecture.
• Proven experience designing and building enterprise-scale webshops on modern cloud-native eCommerce platforms.
• Strong expertise in composable commerce principles and API-first (MACH) architectures.
• Experience integrating enterprise-grade, AI-driven search, product discovery, merchandising, and personalization solutions.
• Solid hands-on development experience with Go, Java, JavaScript, and React.
• A collaborative mindset and experience working effectively in agile development teams.
• Understanding of web accessibility and SEO best practices.
• Experience with modern software development practices, including DevOps, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development.
• Fluent English communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Design flexible, robust, and scalable webshop solutions with architecture guidance.
• Collaborate with architects and development teams to drive technical direction.
• Coordinate implementation and provide mentoring during code reviews.
• Refine features, break requirements into user stories, and maintain the codebase.
• Contribute to test automation and DevOps practices.
