Job summary

g2 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Lead HV Designer to join a major hyperscale data centre project in Finland. You will lead the design of HV substations and electrical infrastructure, ensuring compliance with Finnish regulations and IEC standards.

You will produce and review SLDs, layouts, cable schedules and protection schemes, coordinate with civil, structural, MEP, construction and commissioning teams, and provide technical support during construction, testing and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Experience with transformers, switchgear, protection, earthing and HV systems.
• Knowledge of IEC standards.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with transformers, switchgear, protection, earthing and HV systems.
• Previous experience on data centre, industrial or major infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of IEC standards.
• Fluent English; Finnish is advantageous.
