Job summary

ALMACO Group in Finland/France/Italy is seeking a Project Engineer – Modernization to lead catering modernization projects in the cruise and shipbuilding industry. You will drive design, planning, and technical execution from intake through delivery, installation, and warranty, ensuring compliance with ALMACO standards.

The role requires strong CAD skills, ability to read drawings, and coordination across multidisciplinary teams in an international setting.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in shipbuilding with catering exposure.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Strong 2D CAD skills and knowledge of 3D modelling.
• Experience in project engineering, design coordination or technical planning is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to engineering and design activities in catering modernization projects.
• Plan engineering schedules, task breakdowns and resource plans; support cost calculations.
• Coordinate the design team and review technical drawings with stakeholders.
• Ensure documentation accuracy, compliance and reporting of progress and risks.
• Collaborate across Project Managers, Designers, Procurement, Production and Installation; travel for on-site support as needed.
