Job summary

ALMACO Group is seeking a Project Engineer – Modernization to join our offices in Finland, France or Italy. You will lead catering modernization projects for cruise and shipbuilding, driving design and technical solutions from order intake to installation and warranty.

You’ll coordinate engineers, review drawings, and ensure compliance with regulations and ALMACO standards, while collaborating across internal teams and external partners in an international setting.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree and experience in shipbuilding or related field.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Solid CAD skills and experience with design processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and design activities for catering modernization projects.
• Support technical decisions with Project Manager.
• Ensure designs meet contractual, regulatory, and ALMACO standards.
• Coordinate and guide the project design team and stakeholders.
• Prepare schedules, budgets and documentation for reporting.
