Job summary

Foreship Ltd., part of RINA, is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our Europe Marine Engineering division in Helsinki/Turku/Hamburg. You will lead complex cruise ship conversion and newbuilding projects, coordinating naval architects, engineers and external partners from concept through delivery.

The role requires a MSc/BSc in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering, at least five years of relevant experience, strong leadership and English fluency, and the ability to manage scope,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a project engineering/management role for cruise ship conversions or newbuilds.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale maritime projects with full responsibility for scope, budget, and schedule.
• Strong technical knowledge of ship design processes, especially cruise vessel conversions.
• Strong knowledge of maritime rules, regulations, and class requirements with hands-on experience applying them during conversions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large, complex cruise ship conversion projects from early design phase through final delivery.
• Contribute as a key Project Manager in cruise ship newbuilding and ferry projects when required.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including naval architects, engineers and external partners to ensure efficient collaboration and delivery.
• Provide technical oversight on general arrangement, technical specifications and compliance with classifications society rules and maritime regulations.
