Job summary

ICEYE in Espoo, Finland seeks a Lab Technician to provide hands-on laboratory and production support in our Espoo manufacturing environment. You will troubleshoot equipment, maintain tools, improve lab processes, and support the production floor when issues arise.

This role is ideal for someone with 1–3 years of experience and a technical degree who enjoys solving problems independently and growing within a high-tech manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of professional experience in a laboratory, production, or technical support setting.
• Working knowledge of production processes and industrial environments.
• Applied technical proficiency in mechanical and/or electrical systems.
• Background in equipment maintenance, calibration, or technical troubleshooting.
• Capable of reading and interpreting technical documentation accurately.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Skilled in systematic documentation, planning, and inventory management.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily laboratory and production support to ensure continuity and smooth operation.
• Support equipment start-up and shutdown procedures per established protocols.
• Perform preventive maintenance and monitor calibration schedules for lab and production equipment.
• Conduct first-level troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues.
• Perform root cause analysis with internal teams and third-party suppliers.
• Ensure lab equipment is maintained, operational, and documented.
• Monitor cleanroom environmental controls (temp, humidity).
• Manage inventory levels of consumables and technical supplies.
