Job summary

Symeres Finland Oy in Oulu is seeking a proactive Purchasing and Logistics Coordinator to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly. You will manage purchasing, coordinate deliveries, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure laboratories have the materials they need.

You will also handle inventory, contribute to storage practices and related software, and oversee laboratory facilities including safety, key management, and maintenance tasks. The role requires Finnish and English and on-site work.

Qualifications

• Relevant vocational qualification and strong IT skills.
• Proficient Finnish and English for daily work.
• Ability to prioritise and adapt to changing situations.
• Experience with laboratory facilities or chemicals is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Procure materials and manage day-to-day purchasing and supplier negotiations.
• Coordinate incoming deliveries and outgoing shipments and maintain inventory.
• Support development of purchasing/storage practices and related software.
• Maintain laboratory facilities safety and upkeep, including key management.
• Communicate clearly with internal teams and external partners.
