Job summary

Vivicta in Helsinki is seeking a Junior Telecom Network Engineer to join a team responsible for operating, maintaining and developing mobile Voice Core platforms and services. You will grow into a consulting role with structured onboarding to telecom technologies and hands-on project experience.

You will learn from experienced colleagues, share knowledge, and work with current technologies in 5G and cloud networking.

Qualifications

• Fundamental telecommunications expertise, drive, willingness to learn.
• Relevant higher education.
• 2-5 years in telecommunications and mobile core services/networks.
• Troubleshooting complex incidents across multiple stakeholders is an advantage.
• Knowledge of agile ways of working (e.g., SAFe).
• Hands-on automation/cloud tech: Kubernetes, GitHub/GitOps, CI/CD, Ansible, Python.
• Basic networking, telecom services and protocols knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong communication, collaboration and analytical skills; fluent Finnish & English.
• Finnish citizenship is required for security clearance.

You will work with our client in the telecommunications industry in Helsinki, becoming part of a team responsible for operating, maintaining and developing business-critical mobile Voice Core platforms and services. You will have the opportunity to grow into a consulting role. Who We Are Looking For

We expect you to have fundamental telecommunications expertise - however, the most important qualities are your drive, willingness to learn, and genuine interest in technology. We are looking for someone who has: Relevant higher education Proven experience (2-5 years) in telecommunications and knowledge of mobile core services/networks. Experience from troubleshooting and resolution of complex incidents across multiple stakeholders is an advantage Knowledge of or experience with agile ways of working (e.g., SAFe). Hands-on experience of technologies related to automation and cloud such as Kubernetes and related cloud technologies, GitHub/GitOps, CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, and scripting/programming (e.g., Python). Basic knowledge of computer networking, telecom services and protocols or system administration is considered an advantage. Strong communication, collaboration and analysing skills and good proficiency in both Finnish and English. Finnish citizenship (required for security clearance).

Competitive remuneration 3500-4000 EUR monthly/gross* *Monthly salary offer will be defined based up on candidate's professional competence compliance with job demands.
