Job summary

Vivicta is seeking a Junior Telecom Network Engineer to join a client project in Helsinki. You will operate, maintain, and contribute to the development of mobile Voice Core platforms and services, working in a hands-on, learning-focused environment.

The role offers structured onboarding into the telecommunications domain, access to theoretical and practical training, and collaboration with senior engineers. A flexible hybrid work model is provided and continuous learning is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Relevant higher education
• Proven experience in telecommunications and knowledge of mobile core services/networks (2–5 years) is advantageous
• Knowledge of agile ways of working (e.g., SAFe) would help
• Hands-on experience with automation and cloud technologies (Kubernetes, GitHub/GitOps, CI/CD, Ansible, Python)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, proficiency in Finnish and English

You will work with our client in the telecommunications industry in Helsinki, becoming part of a team responsible for operating, maintaining and developing business-critical mobile Voice Core platforms and services.

Who We Are Looking For

We expect you to have fundamental telecommunications expertise – however, the most important qualities are your drive, willingness to learn, and genuine interest in technology. We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant higher education
• Proven experience (2-5 years) in telecommunications and knowledge of mobile core services/networks. Experience from troubleshooting and resolution of complex incidents across multiple stakeholders is an advantage
• Knowledge of or experience with agile ways of working (e.g., SAFe).
• Hands‑on experience of technologies related to automation and cloud such as Kubernetes and related cloud technologies, GitHub/GitOps, CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, and scripting/programming (e.g., Python).
• Basic knowledge of computer networking, telecom services and protocols or system administration is considered an advantage.
• Strong communication, collaboration and analysing skills and good proficiency in both Finnish and English.
• Finnish citizenship (required for security clearance).

Competitive remuneration3500-4000 EUR monthly/gross*

*Monthly salary offer will be defined based up on the candidate’s professional competence compliance with job demands.
