Job summary

Vivicta, a Nordic transformation partner, is seeking a Junior Telecom Network Engineer to join our Helsinki team. You will help operate, maintain and develop mobile Voice Core platforms and services as you grow into a consulting role.

You’ll receive structured onboarding to telecom domains and hands-on learning, with exposure to 5G and cloud-based networking technologies in a collaborative, knowledge-sharing culture. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Relevant higher education
• 2–5 years in telecommunications
• Experience troubleshooting complex incidents across multiple stakeholders
• Knowledge of SAFe or agile ways of working
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, GitHub/GitOps, CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, and scripting (Python)
• Basic knowledge of computer networking, telecom services and protocols
• Strong communication, collaboration and analytical skills; fluent in Finnish and English
• Finnish citizenship (required for security clearance)

You will work with our client in the telecommunications industry in Helsinki, becoming part of a team responsible for operating, maintaining and developing business‑critical mobile Voice Core platforms and services.

Who We Are Looking For

We expect you to have fundamental telecommunications expertise – however, the most important qualities are your drive, willingness to learn, and genuine interest in technology. We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant higher education
• Proven experience (2-5 years) in telecommunications and knowledge of mobile core services/networks. Experience from troubleshooting and resolution of complex incidents across multiple stakeholders is an advantage
• Knowledge of or experience with agile ways of working (e.g., SAFe).
• Hands‑on experience of technologies related to automation and cloud such as Kubernetes and related cloud technologies, GitHub/GitOps, CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, and scripting/programming (e.g., Python).
• Basic knowledge of computer networking, telecom services and protocols or system administration is considered an advantage.
• Strong communication, collaboration and analysing skills and good proficiency in both Finnish and English.
• Finnish citizenship (required for security clearance).

Competitive remuneration3500-4000 EUR monthly/gross*

• Monthly salary offer will be defined based up on the candidate’s professional competence compliance with job demands.
