Job summary

Neste is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to join the Supply Chain Steering team in Espoo. You will optimize and steer one of the supply chains, collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient operations from raw materials to customers.

The role reports to the Director, Supply Chain Steering in Espoo and requires a Bachelor/Master’s degree with 3+ years in supply chain, logistics, scheduling, or refining, plus strong English skills and willingness to innovate new

  • Bachelor or master’s level degree in a relevant field.
  • Min 3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, scheduling or oil refining industry.
  • Knowledge about oil and gas product properties.
  • Good written and verbal English skills; Finnish is an advantage.
  • Willingness and creativity to develop new ways of working.
  • IT knowledge in common office tools.
  • Skills in teamwork, problem solving and decision making.

Our team provides end to end steering for the whole supply chain, from raw material supply to sales to customers, including inventory management. We belong to the Supply Chain Management (SCM) unit, which steers, plans and optimizes short and medium term operations of the supply chain to ensure maximal operating margin, customer delivery performance, optimal inventory levels and reliability & flexibility of operations. Your role in our team

In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing and steering one of the supply chains.


Main responsibilities


  • Planning production and blending together with stakeholders and team

  • Act as focal point of the information and communication regarding the supply chain topics

  • Steer business decisions and optimize product portfolio value in the business horizon

  • Participating in chain specific internal development projects


You will work closely with other supply chains, refinery scheduling, commercial operations and trading. We offer a position with an overall view to the business from supply and sales to production. You will report to the Director, Supply Chain Steering, based in Espoo.


The Best Combination Of Experiences, Skills And Background Is


  • Bachelor or master’s level degree in a relevant field

  • Min 3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, scheduling or oil refining industry

  • Knowledge about oil and gas product properties

  • Passion for understanding the earnings logic of oil refining business

  • Good written and verbal English skills, Finnish is an advantage.

  • Willingness and creativity to develop new ways of working.

  • IT knowledge in common office tools

  • Skills in team work, problem solving and decision making
