Job summary

SSAB is transforming IT Procurement to deliver value through standardized Source-to-Contract and Procure-to-Pay processes, contract governance and software asset management. You will shape digital capabilities and drive supplier lifecycle improvements across an international environment.

The Development & Governance Manager role focuses on process development, digital tools, governance and analytics to enable transparent, compliant procurement with strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in procurement, preferably IT procurement.
• Solid understanding of procurement processes, sourcing, supplier management and contract governance.
• Structured, proactive and collaborative, with strong communication skills.
• Experience with digital procurement tools and contract management systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and standardize Source-to-Contract and Procure-to-Pay processes to strengthen governance, compliance and process maturity.
• Drive supplier lifecycle management, onboarding and sustainability requirements.
• Maintain contract and RFx templates, clause libraries and procurement documentation with key stakeholders.
• Govern key contracts and Digital Roadmap agreements, including cost follow-up, change management and risk prevention.
• Develop digital procurement capabilities, automation and AI-enabled ways of working to improve efficiency, quality and adoption.
• Deliver analytics, reporting and KPI frameworks to increase transparency and support data-driven decision-making.
• Establish and govern Software Asset Management practices to optimize licenses and control software costs.
