Job summary

If Insurance is seeking a Procurement Excellence Manager to drive strategic procurement transformations, you will lead projects and help develop digital tools and processes within procurement. You will assemble the right teams for each project, lead them to progress, and serve as a sparring partner on large tenders across If.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or MBA in a relevant field with at least 3 years in strategic procurement or procurement transformation roles.
• Proven project management experience leading multi-stakeholder programs.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured problem-solving approach.
• Fluency in English and at least one Nordic language.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities, conduct analyses, and build business cases.
• Lead development projects defined by the procurement excellence strategy.
• Facilitate workshops and problem-solving sessions.
• Act as a sparring partner for procurement teams on tenders—strategy and negotiation.
• Provide functional training and system support.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration and capability development.
