Job summary

The European Investment Bank (EIB) is seeking a qualified professional for a 3-year, full-time position within the Innovation Fund division. The role focuses on delivering financial advisory to PDA beneficiaries, assessing project bankability and developing financing plans for low-carbon technologies.

You will interact with the EC, CINEA, and external stakeholders and represent the Bank at events. The successful candidate will join the AGC Division’s Advisory Growth Capital unit, reporting to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with postgraduate finance studies preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in the financial sector, ideally in corporate banking/finance.
• Solid experience in financial analysis including budgeting, forecasting, risk assessment and financial modelling.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate innovative cleantech project proposals to determine commercial viability and bankability.
• Develop advisory plans and scopes of work for implementation to address key issues.
• Provide financial advice and build sound financing plans for Promoters, coordinating with EC and other EIB services.
• Prepare clear, evidence-based assessments, advisory plans and final reports for internal review.
