Job summary

DINAMET OY is seeking ICT technicians for a fixed-term contract in Hamina. The role involves cabling telecom networks, installing equipment, and following strict safety criteria.

Training will be provided, and there is potential to learn fiber welding and testing. You will work in a team with experienced technicians, performing documentation and reporting as part of daily duties. Start dates are staggered in August.

Qualifications

• Experience with fiber and copper cabling is advantageous but not required.
• A valid occupational safety card is required.
• Training will be provided to the selected applicant.
• Work is performed in teams with support from experienced technicians.

Job description

We are seeking ICT technicians for a fixed-term contract in Hamina. The duties primarily consist of cabling of telecommunications networks and installation of equipment. Experience with fiber and copper cabling and operating an aerial work platform is advantageous but not required. Comprehensive training will be provided to the selected applicant. The role includes learning installation of various telecommunications cables from pulling to connecting, following strict quality criteria and safety instructions. There is potential to learn fiber welding and testing. Your responsibilities include work documentation and reporting. Work is performed in teams with experienced technicians helping you succeed. A valid occupational safety card is required. The work is day shifts Mon-Thu 7:00–15:30 and Fri 7:00–12:30. We operate under the Electrical Industry Energy-ICT network collective agreement. Start dates will be staggered in August.
