ARE Oy, a century-old family business in Finland, seeks a proactive Telecommunications Installer for a full-time, permanent position in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area. The role involves diverse installation and maintenance tasks for telecommunications networks, including the maintenance of telecom networks.

You will work at various sites, independently or as part of an installation team, performing service, maintenance and troubleshooting of mobile networks.

Qualifications

• Suitable technical education (vocational electrician).
• 3–5 years in similar roles.
• Knowledge of 48 VDC power equipment and battery systems.
• Valid Class B driver's license and safety card.

Work is performed at various sites, both independently and as part of an installation team. Key responsibilities include the service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mobile networks. The work is physically demanding and requires flexibility in working hours and a willingness to work at various locations.

Applicants are expected to have a suitable technical education (vocational qualification as an electrician) and at least 3-5 years of experience in similar roles. Knowledge of 48 VDC power equipment and battery systems is required. Experience with mobile base station technology, mast climbing permits, and portable backup power technology is considered an advantage. A valid driver's license (Class B) and a valid occupational safety card are mandatory.
