Job summary

g2 Recruitment is looking for a senior Project Director to lead a hyperscale data centre project in Finland, from construction to handover. The role requires strong leadership, governance, and client engagement across multidisciplinary teams.

The successful candidate will manage scope, budget, schedule, risk, and safety, with fluent English; Finnish language skills are advantageous. This is a hybrid freelance/contract position with Finnish travel as required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of delivering large-scale construction or mission-critical projects.
• Proven experience as a Project Director on hyperscale data centre projects.
• Fluent English; Finnish language skills are advantageous.
• Experience managing budgets, programmes and contractors.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a large-scale hyperscale data centre project from construction through to handover.
• Manage project scope, budget, schedule, and stakeholder expectations.
• Oversee contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Drive governance, risk management, and reporting activities.
• Ensure highest safety, quality, and operational excellence standards.
• Act as primary contact for clients and senior stakeholders.
