Job summary

Microsoft Oy is seeking a results-driven Lead Project Manager to direct end-to-end delivery of hyperscale data center construction programs in Finland. You will drive planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement across engineering, operations, and procurement, ensuring on-time completion, budget adherence, and high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, electrical engineering or construction management, or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience in managing large, complex MEP-based construction projects.
• Directly managed contracts worth 150–300 million euros.
• Experience mentoring and leading construction/engineering staff.
• Experience delivering hyperscale data centre projects.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical/MEP systems (HV/LV power, HVAC, UPS, generators, BMS, EPMS).
• Experience with change and incident management.
• Review submittal packages and Factory Witness Testing (FWT).
• General contractor and vendor management (RFPs, bidding, change orders).
• Strong leadership to ensure environmental, quality, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale data center construction projects.
• Partner with engineering, operations, cost management, and construction teams to develop delivery strategies.
• Manage project schedules, resources, and milestones; mitigate risks and accelerate where needed.
• Oversee contractor, vendor, and stakeholder engagement, including procurement activities.
• Lead and develop project management teams with coaching and performance oversight.
• Monitor project financials, reporting, and governance; ensure budget control and data-driven decisions.
