Job summary

Hoxhunt is seeking a Junior People Operations Specialist in Helsinki. You will own the Helsinki office experience, coordinate daily operations, and drive culture activities, becoming the main point of contact for colleagues.

You don't need HR experience, as we will teach the HR admin side. The role offers a hybrid, office-first environment with strong team support and opportunities to grow within People Operations.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in office coordination or equivalent roles
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
• Proactive, ownership-driven attitude
• Ability to adapt quickly and think on your feet
• Excellent communication and a welcoming atmosphere
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Bonus: experience in fast-growing scale-ups or HRIS familiarity

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily office operations and weekly orders
• Run culture activities and office events
• Handle employee questions via Slack or the People Ops ticketing system
• Support pre-boarding, onboarding and off-boarding activities
• Keep employee data up to date in HRIS
• Collaborate with Finance and IT teams
• Maintain operations task lists and process documentation
