Crown Roofing Ltd in Vaasa, Finland, seeks a Health & Safety Advisor to join our expanding European operations. You will support the delivery of roofing, cladding and façade packages on major projects, working closely with project managers, site managers, clients and subcontractors to ensure safe, compliant work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Recognised safety qualification such as NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent (NEBOSH Diploma desirable).
• Minimum three years' experience in a Health & Safety Advisor role within construction.
• Experience working on roofing, cladding, façade or large-scale construction projects is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Promote and drive a positive health and safety culture across all project teams.
• Ensure compliance with local legislation, client requirements and Crown's Health & Safety Management System.
• Carry out regular site inspections, audits and safety observations, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions where required.
• Prepare and review RAMS.
• Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Support project teams in planning works safely and identifying potential hazards before work commences.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with project-specific health and safety requirements.
• Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses, producing reports and implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate health and safety documentation and reporting.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and other stakeholders on health and safety matters.
• Support audits and contribute to continuous improvement of Crown's safety standards.
• Provide practical advice and guidance to project teams to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to high quality standards.
