Job summary

Safegrid Oy, a G&W Electric Company, leads the software development organization for cloud-based grid analytics. The role focuses on building capabilities across Data Engineering, Data Science, Backend, UI/UX, and Systems Engineering to deliver secure, scalable cloud services for grid monitoring and analytics.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience in software development with leadership roles.
• Experience in governance, capacity planning, dependency management and budget ownership.
• Strategic understanding of AI impact on software development and adoption.
• Experience leading geographically distributed teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary software organization, covering workforce planning and team structure.
• Translate product and business priorities into quarterly plans and delivery commitments.
• Own Software Development budget, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
• Drive an organization-wide AI capability roadmap across teams.
• Ensure secure, scalable cloud services meeting cybersecurity and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate across Finland and US with distributed teams.
