Job summary

Metso is seeking a Global Process Owner, Record-to-Report to lead the global R2R process, drive standards, governance and improvements. You will shape the target state and roadmap while advancing automation, AI and data quality in collaboration with Group Finance, IT and business areas.

The role reports to the VP, Finance Transformation with hybrid work options. Ideal candidates hold a Masters in finance or accounting, with IFRS reporting and S/4HANA FI/CO expertise, and a proven ability to

Qualifications

• Masters degree in finance, accounting or economics.
• Experience in General Ledger, period-end closing and IFRS reporting in a multinational company.
• Deep S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO) knowledge to challenge solution design.
• Proven track record of leading global harmonization or finance transformation with measurable results (e.g., S/4HANA rollout).
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders across Business Areas, Market Areas, Group Finance and Global Business Services.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, audit requirements and master data governance.
• Data-driven approach with process KPIs to manage performance.
• Excellent English communication, including presenting to Finance leadership.

• Own and develop Metso’s global Record-to-Report (R2R) process, driving consistent standards and governance.
• Shape the global R2R target state and roadmap while advancing automation, AI and data quality.
• Collaborate with Group Finance, Market Areas, Business Areas, IT and other stakeholders to deliver improvements.
