Job summary

ICEYE is seeking a Protective Services Lead in Espoo, Finland. You will be the operational security lead responsible for keeping ICEYE personnel safe across locations and travel, protecting executives and traveling employees, and leading the response to security incidents.

This is a hands-on, senior role with broad scope and ownership. The role requires coordinating with internal teams and external partners, planning protective details, and developing security practices for a fast-growing global

Qualifications

• Around 8 years of security experience in an international setting.
• Hands-on experience managing external security vendors and SLAs.
• Proven track record of leading security for executive travel or major events.
• Experience planning and running crisis exercises and security training.
• Strong written documentation skills for procedures and reports.
• Calm, structured decision-making under pressure across multiple sites.
• Ability to work with authorities and explain security needs to non-specialists.

Responsibilities

• Run travel risk management for employees and real-time monitoring of destinations.
• Lead the security response to crises and coordinate internal and external teams.
• Plan and deliver executive protection for senior leaders and routes.
• Act as first point of contact for security incidents and alarms, triaging and on-site responses.
• Plan and oversee security for company events, including access control and vendor coordination.
• Manage external security vendors and ensure service levels are met.
• Write and maintain security procedures, run crisis drills, and deliver training.
• Support fast-moving programs with tailored security planning.
