Global Project Finance Controller

Job summary

Metso in Australia is seeking a Project Controller to own the financial integrity, profitability and cash flow of multi-entity projects across our global portfolio. You will partner with Project Managers, Finance and global stakeholders to deliver accurate numbers from project level to entity P&L and balance sheet reporting.

This role requires strong SAP PS and Excel skills, budgeting, forecasting and the ability to challenge and influence stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in project control or project-based finance.
• Strong understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.
• Ability to act as Finance Lead on multi-entity projects.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end project financial control and reporting.
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition and POC accounting.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and deviation analysis.
• Control manhour, material and project costs.
• Monitor cash flow, invoicing and intercompany pricing.
• Set up and maintain project structures in SAP (PS).
• Provide early warnings on financial risks and project deviations.
• Ensure compliance with Metso global processes and policies.
