Job summary

AFRY is recruiting a Project Engineer in the Process Engineering Services team within the Industry Division. The work is conducted in an international environment with close collaboration across disciplines.

Primary placement can be in the Helsinki metropolitan area or Kouvola, Finland, with hybrid working options. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical or Process Engineering (or similar), has 0–5 years of experience in industrial projects, and is proficient in AutoCAD

Qualifications

Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a similar technical field
0–5 years of experience in industrial projects, engineering or project engineering tasks
Experience in AutoCAD and database tools
Interest in process plants, industrial systems and engineering documentation
Structured and systematic way of working
Good collaboration and communication skills
Good command of English, Finnish is considered an advantage
Willingness to learn and develop in project engineering and system engineering tasks

Responsibilities

Participate in system engineering activities within your own design area
Draft process flow diagrams (PFDs) and P&IDs
Coordinate subcontracted engineering activities
Produce process engineering documentation
Develop your personal skills and take part in collaborative internal development projects
