Job summary

AFRY is recruiting a Project Engineer in the Process Engineering Services team within the Industry Division. The role supports engineering and consulting for global clients in an international environment, with a primary workplace in the Helsinki metropolitan area or Kouvola.

The position offers a hybrid working model and opportunities to develop technical and project management skills while collaborating with top experts across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or similar field.
• 0–5 years of experience in industrial projects/engineering tasks.
• Experience with AutoCAD and database tools.
• Interest in process plants and engineering documentation.
• Structured, systematic approach and good collaboration/communication.
• Good command of English; Finnish is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Participate in system engineering activities within your design area.
• Draft PFDs and P&IDs.
• Coordinate subcontracted engineering activities.
• Produce process engineering documentation.
• Develop skills through internal development projects.
