Job summary

Wärtsilä Corporation is seeking an HR IT Project Manager to lead strategic HR technology projects across Wärtsilä’s global HR landscape. Preferred location is Helsinki, Finland, with negotiable other Finnish sites and hybrid work options.

You will drive the Time and Payroll programme as the Time Project Manager within the Tech Workstream, collaborating with technical experts, global programme management, HR stakeholders and external vendors to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Human Resources or Project Management
• 8+ years of experience leading IT projects, primarily in HR
• Experience managing cross-country, multi-stakeholder programs
• PM work in time management, payroll and integrations
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle HCM or similar
• Strong governance, planning, financial management and reporting
• Experience handling data privacy and cybersecurity topics
• Experience in managing external vendors and delivery partners
• Excellent written and spoken English

Responsibilities

• Lead the Time and Payroll Tech Workstream in collaboration with service manager and experts
• Manage HR technology projects from initiation to deployment and support
• Coordinate design, testing, deployment and operations transition
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and achievement of business outcomes
• Support change management, user adoption and training
• Prepare project plans, status reports and governance materials
• Engage with HR stakeholders, IT teams and external vendors
