Job summary

Mehiläinen is seeking a Financial Controller for the Group Consolidation Team in Helsinki. The role collaborates with finance colleagues across operating countries to ensure accurate IFRS reporting and CSRD compliance, while maintaining the group’s consolidation system in Anaplan.

The position can be tailored based on competence and background, with a hybrid working arrangement. A strong foundation in IFRS, group accounting and technical reporting tools is essential.

Qualifications

A relevant higher university degree (e.g., MSc Econ).
Several years of experience in financial accounting or group accounting.
Understanding of consolidation systems and finance processes.
Knowledge of IFRS and willingness to adopt standards quickly.
Strong Excel skills and ability to develop reporting solutions.
Fluent in Finnish and English.
Interest in technical solutions (databases, SQL, Power BI) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Prepare financial statements, interim reports and monthly analysis with the team.
Carry out monthly group consolidation tasks.
Manage IFRS16 lease accounting in Fatman and prepare entries.
Contribute to CSRD reporting capabilities.
Support internal controls testing and admin in Anaplan.
Participate in development projects.
