Job summary

Mehiläinen is seeking a Financial Controller for the Group Consolidation Team in Helsinki. The role collaborates across finance and stakeholders in multiple countries and focuses on annual/interim reporting, IFRS accounting, and consolidation processes.

The position offers hybrid work arrangements, modern tech, and opportunities to shape CSRD reporting in a growing international private healthcare group.

Qualifications

• Relevant higher university degree (e.g., MSc Econ)
• A few years of experience in financial accounting or group accounting
• Understanding of consolidation systems and finance processes
• Knowledge of IFRS or willingness to learn quickly
• Strong Excel skills and ability to develop technical reporting solutions
• Fluent Finnish and English in preparation of materials

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, interim reports and monthly analyses with the team
• Perform monthly group consolidation tasks
• Handle IFRS16 lease accounting in Fatman and prepare journal entries
• Contribute to CSRD reporting and internal controls testing
• Admin and maintenance work in the consolidation tool Anaplan
