Job summary

Normet Group is seeking an Engineering Change Coordinator based in Iisalmi, Finland, with flexible onsite attendance. You will coordinate engineering changes from BOM to production and work with global teams to ensure timely implementation.

The role requires 3–5 years in engineering changes, strong cross-functional collaboration, and fluency in English and Finnish. A structured, proactive approach and knowledge of ERP/PLM systems are essential.

Qualifications

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent.
3-5 years of experience in engineering changes in a manufacturing environment.
Understanding of production build phases, inventory/material availability and supplier lead times.
Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain/Sourcing and Service/Aftermarket.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and drive item changes from BOM to the production floor.
Assess and manage change implementation considering machines under build, items in storage, and impact on service/spare parts.
Plan and align change timing with new item lead times, supplier availability and production schedule.
Identify components becoming obsolete and trigger needed change actions early.
Own and improve engineering change processes, including documentation and governance.
Collaborate with global teams to align engineering changes across sites.
Maintain clear change communication and status tracking with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain and Service.
