Job summary

Verne is building a centralized, 24/7 control center to oversee global datacenter operations and optimize processes. You will lead a distributed team, maintain procedural documents, and define the roadmap for 24/7 visibility across countries.

You will drive a clear vision for tools and processes, collaborating with our international team to implement an effective operations platform with AI-supported productivity improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in datacenter operations or 24x7 mission critical environments.
• Strong expertise in running operational processes and continuous service management 24x7.
• Experience with DCIM platforms such as BMS, ServiceNOW, Nlyte or Fiix.
• Proven ability to develop and optimize operational processes and document workflows.

Responsibilities

• Oversee outsourced control centers and evaluate performance against standards.
• Maintain process descriptions and operational documents to enable efficient work.
• Train teams, run regular drills, and ensure incident response readiness.
• Own and manage the toolset to monitor and control datacenters and related support processes.
• Lead a virtual team to design and optimize processes and tools for a world-class colo experience.
• Collaborate with technical operations and customer service teams to ensure quality service delivery.
