Job summary

OP Pohjola is seeking a GitHub Specialist to improve developer experience and platform services. The role combines hands-on engineering with collaboration across DevOps, automation, security, and platform engineering to shape how software is built today and in the future.

You will manage GitHub Enterprise and Artifactory configurations, enforce policies, automate tasks with Infrastructure as Code and Policy as Code, and develop self‑service tooling that helps developers provision repositories

Qualifications

• . Strong experience with DevOps tools and practices (GitHub, CI/CD, artifact management).
• .. Knowledge of identity and access management (SSO, SCIM, IAM, Entra ID).
• .. Experience with automation using Terraform and GitHub Actions.
• .. Programming experience in languages such as Java, Python, or Bash.
• .. Strong cloud experience with Microsoft Azure.
• .. Experience leveraging AI in software development and automation.
• .. Experience developing AI agents or automated solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop shared configurations for GitHub Enterprise and Artifactory.
• Define organization-wide policies (repository policies, branch protection, artifact governance).
• Manage integrations such as Entra ID, CI/CD pipelines, and security tooling.
