ARDEX Finland seeks a commercially driven General Manager to lead the Finnish business from Espoo. You will have full P&L responsibility, set strategic direction, and accelerate growth through disciplined pricing, channel development and selective ARDEX product introductions.
You will lead 16 people, collaborate with Nordic and international teams, and stay close to customers and major accounts. This hands-on role combines autonomy with governance and a clear mandate to grow market share.
On behalf of ARDEX, we are looking for an experienced and commercially driven General Manager to lead the Finnish business.
ARDEX Finland has a strong market position, recognised premium products and an experienced and committed team. The next phase is about building further on this strong foundation: accelerating top-line growth, broadening the customer and distributor base, expanding the offering through selected new product lines from the wider ARDEX Group portfolio, strengthening project-market activities and further developing commercial execution and pricing discipline.
With full P&L responsibility, significant local autonomy and a seat in the Nordic management team, the General Manager will have a clear mandate to shape the future development of ARDEX Finland.
ARDEX is a family-owned, international manufacturer of high-performance premium building materials and system solutions for flooring, tiling, waterproofing, concrete repair and related applications. For more than 75 years, ARDEX has built its position around quality, technical expertise and innovative building solutions.
Today, the ARDEX Group employs approximately 4,100 people across more than 50 countries. In the Nordics & Baltics, ARDEX has around 100 colleagues across five office sites, six ARDEX Academy sites and a production footprint in Hedensted, Denmark.
As General Manager, you will have full P&L and leadership responsibility for ARDEX Finland, an independent entity within the ARDEX Group and part of the Nordics & Baltics region.
A key part of the role will be to strengthen ARDEX’s market position and accelerate top-line growth through strong sales execution, value-based pricing, channel development and strategic account management.
The Finnish go-to-market model combines strong distributor partnerships with direct sales to selected customer segments, creating opportunities to further broaden the customer base and strengthen ARDEX’s position across the market.
You will lead an experienced team of 16 employees, setting clear direction and priorities while strengthening accountability, engagement and competencies across the organisation.
This is a hands‑on leadership role. You will remain close to customers and the market, take an active role in major negotiations and strategic accounts, and at the same time develop the structures, processes and organisation required for continuous growth.
You will also be an active member of the Nordic management team and collaborate closely with Nordic and international colleagues across Sales, Marketing, Technical, Supply Chain, Operations and Finance.
We are looking for an experienced commercial leader with strong business acumen and the ability to translate strategy into measurable action.
You are commercially sharp, structured and execution‑focused. You combine authority and credibility with a collaborative and low‑ego leadership style. You are comfortable taking ownership, creating change and challenging established ways of working while respecting what already works.
You are likely to bring:
This is an opportunity to join a financially solid, family‑owned international group with a long‑term perspective, recognised premium products and strong values.
At the same time, ARDEX Finland is a business where your decisions will have visible impact. You will inherit an experienced and committed team and a strong market foundation, while having a clear mandate to develop the commercial platform, organisation and future growth agenda.
The role therefore offers a combination of stability, autonomy, Nordic exposure and the opportunity to create measurable commercial and organisational results.
The position is based at ARDEX Finland’s office in Espoo, where there is also a third‑party warehouse partner. Home office facilities are available, although work is expected to primarily take place from the office. Regular travel within Finland and periodic travel across the Nordic region and to relevant Group meetings should be expected.
